Make a change, observe what happens, and then evaluate the next step. Don't go changing everything at once or you are just "shot gunning" as I say.
Common sense approach that works everytime.

I have installed tamiya motors in all my shermans to improve their perforance with the taigen trannys. Sometimes I run into this problem to. its just some more time to change the wiring around. You will like that abrams now. I have red motors in my ultimate trannys in my abrams and I run 12 volts so it gets up and moves.

When you turn on the tank and then turn on the radio, does the radio show the battery level of the RX? If so, it's already bound. If not, your radio could be on the wrong model number or it might need to be bound.

Please, show a picture of your receiver and transmitter for us to help. How old is your unit? Some older radio need to be binded to work.

Tank Remote control not working right

I'm new to RC tanks. I bought a Heng Long M1A2 Abrams tank I did some mods. I changed the stock Drive gearbox for an Ultimate edition II. Since the change, my remote does not work properly . I fixed one of the issues. Forward and Backward. I had the motor wires in the wrong spot on the board(TK-6.0) M1 and M2 reversed . Still a problem, when I push the stick forward and left the tank goes forward and right. It dose this in all directions. I had to solder the wires on the motors. I put Red to the + on the motor and the Black to the other side on both motors. The book on the remote says forward and left the tank should go forward and left, not forward and right. The same as backward and left not backward and right. Can anyone tell me where the problem might Be and how I might fix it
