The TK-6.0 MFU has 8 LED ports (Dupont) LED #1 is for Launch/Flashing. I'm guessing that's for installing the flashing LED MOD in the barrel muzzle ? LED #2 is for Aiming Light. Can someone tell me how to activate this? I would assume the transmitter would have a button or something to make this port active, but I can't find it. Moving the barrel up or down, moving the turret thus "aiming" does nothing. Does it require a combination of commands or something? LED #6 is for brake lights. How is that activated? Same thing for LED #6 & #7...turning the tank doesn't seem to do anything either? Does Henglong put this same MFU in other vehicles that would use those functions, but are not available in their Tanks? If that is the case, then I would assume those vehicles must use different transmitters?

Isn't the LED #2 Aiming Light the Laser Aiming Light triggered by button "B"?
BTW, Stanlley did a video on adding the barrel smoke + flash https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9qCBoeBrxg

I seen Stanley's Video..its cool. Come to think of it, I may not have tried the Cannon fire button...I was really hoping for something that stayed on until turned off..Originally posted by sclui56 View PostIsn't the LED #2 Aiming Light the Laser Aiming Light triggered by button "B"?

Roger that. One of these days or perhaps months actually, I may splurge and go for the Elmod Board. I know allot of folks opt for the Clark, but the Elmod has my complete attention. Both pricey, so who knows...Torro needs to get on the ball, for sure...Originally posted by sclui56 View PostI am using a hobby grade Tx with my Taigen's, my hope is either Taigen improves their MFU's to HL's 6/7 level - OR- HL adds the ability to use after-market Rx's, that would open up possibilities to add other functions.

Clark boards have been having a lot of issues as of late. Best to hold off for a while longer until a new production run is done. A number of members hear can tell you their horror stories of their recent Clark board adventures.Originally posted by Zippersnapper View Post

The wording in the manual is a bit “off” with the Chinese to English word usage so there is some guess work to what function does what.Originally posted by Zippersnapper View Post

Most of the features work, but there are some that do not especially on the 6.0S version. Turn signs are one of them....sometimes. The aiming light is activated with a series of commands that at this moment I can’t remember, but are in the manual.
What features are you wanting to add and maybe I can direct you to the ports to look at using.

Just looking for a switchable LED port, not momentary like the machine gun. I want to "light up" the commander's copula.Originally posted by Rubicon99 View Post

Ask them if they know how if you can connect the 6.0 or 6.1 into a regular 4+ channel hobby grade radio receiver like a spectrum or Airtronics.RC tank parts and accessories I make

You are going to be surprised at what is hidden. Some of it useful some of it not so so much. Most of it is based on future add ons and upgrades that HL never put into production.Originally posted by Zippersnapper View Post
Tonight, Toucanhobby is going to do a video Skype meeting with me, to show these "hidden functions" on the 6.0 MFU/Transmitter..

Just got off the Skype call with Toucanhobby. The receiver, 6.0. 6.1, 7.0 will only work with their transmitter. Daniel also said Henglong has no future plans to allow it to bind with other manufactures transmitters. I mentioned how that is needed, as many folks want to use their high-end transmitters with Henglong tanks. He said he would pass that on to Henglong.
LED port #1 is for cannon firing...as I suspected. Need to do the MOD, as it's a brief momentary action. LED port #2 "Aiming" (button B on the transmitter) makes a LED light up as long as that button is pressed. I watched him demonstrate that-It works. LED #6 "Brake"-That LED if equipped, will light when you let off the throttle moving forward. Daniel said only for a brief second. #7 & #8, is supposed to light when turning left or right........supposed to. I did not ask Daniel to demonstrate that.
Has anyone tried taking out the Taigen electronics altogether and putting in Henglongs? Why wouldn't it work?
