This Heng Long King Tiger has been an issue ever since I started to upgrade parts on it. After installing the lower hull reinforcement kit and putting the tank back together everything was working great. Until I went to fire and nothing happened no BB no mechanism noise no nothing. I checked everything wiring, batteries etc. Nothing visual to cause this problem, I did notice oil leaking out of the white shell of the mechanism, does anyone know what would cause this? I have only fired this thing like four times and then it sat for almost two months. I am stumped at this point.

It's fairly common for the shooting mechanism to quit working. I have had to replace a few. Mostly you could hear it trying to work, but it would not fire, kinda like it would compress the spring, but would not release. You will need to completely disassemble the turret to replace it. The unit itself is fairly cheap.

First triple check your connections are good.
Second open up your turret and make sure wires are still connected to the turrets inner-workings.
Third if you have a 360° turret if not skip, do a continuity test on all wires that run through the slip ring.
Last if all connections on the board are good, no wires broken and, if you have 360° your slip ring is fine all I can say is to replace the gun.

Well, here is what I found after taking the entire turret apart. The white housing was leaking the grease if you could call it that. It was more like fluid which ran down the wire to the jumper board, and the socket where the electrical connection connects to had fluid in there. So I dried everything and use a light bit of electrical contact cleaner and no luck. No mechanical sound or anything totally dead. Which I find weird because I haven't used the thing but maybe three times to do some test firing. I could see if I was firing the thing like crazy but its not the case. Can anyone direct me to a seller that is not in China, that would take over a month to get the replacement?
