Thank you for showing your work on the barrel elevation system. I will see if I can follow the same path once the ordered barrel arrives :-)

Next stage, camo'ed. Then will come wear & tear, decalling and weathering.

The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

        Very nice camo job Bob!
Very close color matches all around.
What are you using for the dark yellow? Looks great.

Don't forget to take the masking tapes off both of the front lights . Look so real under the sunlight!

Sure Shot, the color is Tamiya’s dark yellow rattle can.

David, yep, I always take tank photos outdoors for that reason!

The barrel of the Stug III came in from the mail yesterday. I installed it in my Stug IV. It is a little long. I still like it. There is a hole at the right side of the front, so I just put the front light into it. I don't want to drill anymore holes and I don't feel safe of putting the lights underneath outside above the tracks. The outside of the tank is done. It is now a RC tank. I don't have any plan for the movement of barrel yet. I will probably leave it like that.

Here it is next to the Dragon 1/72 scale that I used for the paint scheme and tools installation. Thanks Bob for sharing your work on this tank first, so I could follow to do mine Click image for larger version

Yes Sir! This Stug IV was seen at a hillside road somewhere in Italy, lol.

Thank you James. A reserved Stug III (with metal tracks and sprockets) was called in to help out on defending the town. I will need to put on another layer of dullcote. It is still "glossy" when putting it out in the sun.

Definitely looks like bad news for any Shermans or Cromwells in the area. Very nice job on both.

David, looks like we're on the same wave length! III's & IV's.

Guys, ever wonder what the heck those two Heng Long figures with the StuG's were good for? Here ya go:

Looks like Vandra reissued his Jagdpanzer L48/70. Dave, you need the full collection!

Yes Bob! We both are part of the Southern Cal self-propelled gun company, lol. Oh my goodness! Thank you for that info on the Jag IV. I was checking out the Jagpanzer IV by Tamiya which costs $1250.
