I got my Schwimmwagen in mail today and prop will not raise or lower. You can hear mechanism internally running, but no prop movement or engagement to spin either.

I had the same issue with mine. Talked to customer service and filled out an RMA. Hopefully the replacement works better. -
There should be a string running from the top of the engine cover to the top of the prop guard that connects to a servo inside to raise and lower the prop.
I don't see it in your photos.
