  • The courrier came by today...

    ...and the missus was out...

Damn, that King Tiger is a beast... I think my days of "No dear, that's the same tank..." are over...
TMTR done, found a small problem with the King Tiger. MG and BB gun were iffy, irratically responding to the controller. Tried the King Tiger with the remote from the Sherman, all was fine. So popped open the remote and found the plug from the two buttons to the main board inside the controller had jostled loose. Popped it in, worked a treat. Then noticed the MG light wasn't flashing. Popped open the tank and found a loose wire (and a lot of future wire organizing...)

Next on the list of incoming tanks; Stug III with custom side-grade to TK6.0...
Next on the wishlist; Tiger I and maybe a Jagdpanther..?

    TTFN,
    Rob
    Sherman M4A3 105mm Houwitser / Sherman Firefly IC *under construction* / Panzer IV *awaiting side-grade from TK7.0S to TK6.0S* / Stug III / King Tiger / KV-1 *awaiting upgrade to TK6.0S* / Tiger I / T34-85 / Leopard 2A6 *waiting upgrade to TK7.0*... No, I do not have a problem....

I received the HL v7.0 T-34/85 with metal tracks, drive , idler, and suspension arms the other day. Hope to check it out in the next few days. Been too darn busy lately.

Good choices for your 1st 2 tanks. Both have nice camouflage schemes.
