Well... it arrived today...



If this thing is 1/16, it's from the Lilliput Army. A quick calculation shows it's more like 1/21.5 (and that's me being generous) compared to the dimensions of the "real" thing. It's about 10 centimeters too short.

But... it makes up for it's size with the insane speed. And controlling it... well... good luck with that...

Fun? Yessssss....

I'll run it a while before I do unspeakable thing to it...

I'd have to produce kids first, because I have none. How do you think I can afford all those tanks?

Well not really, but close! Pop-ups from Banggood and AliExpress show up on my screens, wonder why? Anyway, an ad for a 1:16 scale 6x6 truck (really an Armored Personnel Carrier), the EAT07 from Banggood) looked somehow familiar:


It sure looks like it was copied from a real world something or other. Looking around, I found the VAB (Véhicule de l'avant blindé) Mk 3 6X6, a French APC.



The toy sells elsewhere, but B must have had an overstock because theirs was half the usual price. Steering, we ain't got no steering! There is separate power to each side, supposedly all wheels powered, controlled by a joystick for each side. Sorta tank-like control. Suspension? Nope. No gun on top. One's enroute. A bit of paint will class it up!
