  • IR sensor trouble shooting

New HL V6.0 Challenger2 does not sense/ react to shots from V7.0 tank. Anyone have a schematic for the sensor, wiring, 360 adapter?

The sensor has 3 wires that goes down to a connector board that has the out put to the 360 swivel and then to the 6.0 MFU. I didn't have much time to trace the signal but the three wires does go to the connector board. there the middle pin is common with nearby connections (common ground?) and the two outer connections go to the swivel. I tried to trace what looked like the signal, a green wire to the swivel but the other side of the swivel ohms out to the yellow wire, not the green out put. Looking at this picture it does appear that the yellow is the signal wire at the MFU. Green in but yellow out sure doesn't seem right.

Bottom line does anyone have a wiring diagram with wire colors?

Is there a way to simulate the IR getting "hit" by maybe shorting two pins together at points along the signal path to help trouble shoot?

I got it working, seems there was a bad connection.
