  • New Tank Setup

Do yourselves a favor and avoid some irritating new Heng Long issues. Check the torque and or tightness of of all screws on torsion arms and wheels before running. The only problems I have had is with drive, idler, and road wheels coming loose causing issues. Takes 5 minutes, saves some disappointment.

Not just check, take the wheels and drive sprockets off, tighten the suspension arms, grease axles, use rubber cement on the screws for the wheels when you put them back on (also if you can swap out the sheet metal screws they use for 2.5mm machine screws and washers) and when you put the drive sprocket back on add a lock washer and use loctite. And check the gear box for grease ( I have gotten one that had no grease in it).
