This time, we had more buildings than before. There were many white and grayish ones too. Our tanks on the same side kept knocking out each other because of the IR bouncing off from all of those buildings, lol.SoCal RC Tank Club Facebook Group

It will probably be in the shed where we store all of our buildings, trees, and obstacles.SoCal RC Tank Club Facebook Group

We should ask our club president to divide the teams by the nationality of our tanks when we battle

Historically the club battles in LA have shown that doesn’t work well and because of such it is not done often. There are a lot of reason for it. But mainly it ends up being very unbalanced with more experienced players always being on the same side vs less experienced players.Originally posted by DavidN View PostWe should ask our club president to divide the teams by the nationality of our tanks when we battle
San Diego is about the only club out west that has special themed battles where type, color or country are grouped together. Try and make it to one of the next SD battles it’s a total different experience.

That’s not a failure, it’s a feature! It represents infantry with panzer fausts, rpgs, laws, etc hiding in those buildings. Lol.Originally posted by DavidN View PostThis time, we had more buildings than before. There were many white and grayish ones too. In February, Haojii came to play with us. He put IR mine devices in some of the buildings and tanks got flashed all over :-)Originally posted by oldwolf View PostThat’s not a failure, it’s a feature! It represents infantry with panzer fausts, rpgs, laws, etc hiding in those buildings. Lol.

Those mines of his are great. I use them in solo ‘tactical problems’ against bunkers with two internal pins jumpered so they fire continuously at the reload rate, until knocked out. That lets them cover a much larger area than the motion sensors work over for small neutral temperature objects like tanks.Originally posted by DavidN View Post
