                                Thanks for posting the event.
Gives some of us more inspiration and motivation to get going on doing something like that!

That was one of the most enjoyable LA battle days in a long while. Lots of battles, lots of tanks, lots of moving and LOTS OF SHOOTING!!!

This time, I liked the way the president of the club set up one section of the battle field that looked like a street in the city with many buildings right next to each other. It really felt like street fighting at that spot.

On behalf of my daughter, I would like to apologize to Rubicon for her shooting at your tank at the very 1st battle of the day. It was her very first tank battle. She practiced at home a little bit. And I did remind her to remember all of the tanks on her side when the battle started. Well... in the heat of her 1st battle, she got confused and shot at your tank, her comrade....Sorry :-(

For the rest of the day, she did well though. She asked me to be on the opposite side so she could just go after me to be safe, lol.
Maybe I will ask the president to allow us to put flags (blue and yellow masking tapes) on the antennas of our tanks when we fight next time. Just a thought .

No worries. Getting shot by ones own team is to be expected and it happens frequently especially for someones first time in a battle.

I don’t know how well flags will go over because few people actually have antennas on their tanks and most that do the antennas are largely decorative and not sturdy enough to handle repeated “tape” flag changes. There are ways to add flags but most people will not be willing to make or add a flag “mounts” onto their tanks. The majority of mine were built with well hidden “mounts” to accommodate a separate flag antenna for use at some future point, but that is not the norm.

Putting colorer tape anywhere on a tank be it turret/barrel/hull will definitely not be acceptable because of the risk of it peeling off paint or leaving adhesive behind on the paint that will cause other issues later.

I am not against team flags, just be aware the logistics of it are challenging and getting everyone “on board” will be a daunting task.

Team flags on one of my older Abrams.
