Is the tank too big, or the train too small?
When I run out of tank projects (only temporarily of course!), I dig out some other hobby stuff. A OO9 scale (1:76 scale narrow gauge running on n scale track) British steam locomotive, posed in front of a 1:16...well, you identify it!
Now, where is that M24 Chaffee?The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

While looking back at this thread, I realized I left something relevant out. Earlier I had proposed making Warhammer 40K tanks in 1:16 scale of which there are none, even in 3DP form. I posted this effort elsewhere, but it needs to be included here:
Interesting similarities, eh? Here it is at a SoCalRCTank battle event:
