It’s a hand built tank with more “out of the box” details and functionality then the Mato. $1900 is actually not a bad price for what you are getting. The only down side is that with the HL you still do not get a hobby quality transmitter (they do have one) just the standard one all the HL tanks come with. That in itself makes an otherwise really nice tank seem cheaply made.

The all metal Tiger from Mato and the all metal Tiger from HL are two completely different animals. I doubt they have any parts that are the same between the two. I would also agree that you cannot bind a Spektrum radio to a HL controller.

Worth it? That's pretty subjective.

Keep in mind that Heng Long has an all metal 1/8th scale Abrams they are charging $11,000 for. Yes...$11K USD.
