    I have a couple of questions ...

    is the Heating coil on left (with red & black wires attached) and
    the smoke generator on right (with blue wires attached)



    Re-attaching wires to the main board...
    Does it matter which way the LED wires get connected? The plug allows it to connect in either direction

    The left is the fan that pushes the smoke generated by the box on the right with blue wire.

    Yes it matters which way the LED wires are plugged in.

      I labeled the wires but didn't pay attention to how they were seated.
      Are the plugs connected with the silver tabs facing the bottom of the MFU board or with the silver tabs facing the top of the MFU board? (nothing marking polarity on plug)

        For the LED's, RED=+ve, on the outboard pin. There should be an indication molded on the surface of the MFU "box", lower right corner.
