  • Taigen all metal Tiger tank "Kit" 1'16th scale

This is the Taigen 1/16th scale Tiger 1 kit "All Metal"
She's about 5 years old now and still kicking like the day she started.
This is a very good kit and requires you to build the entire kit and paint it. I painted this one with an airbrush, dry brushing and paper towels for the look you see here.
I like building because you learn a lot about the kit, parts, wiring and so on plus I know it's built and put together right after i'm done with it.

    Cheers!

Nice finish! tell us about the paper towel treatment, hadn't heard about that.
Twenty six tanks, and not done yet!

I use the towels to smear the paint and build up sort of a texture on the paint in certain areas but doing this when the paint is a bit sticky to hold the texture.
