Has anyone done fpv cameras on tank, is there a predesigned set up…… thinking I want to have two cameras, one in driver position and one on turret….

Yes and yes. I have camera's on a number of my tanks, both fixed and movable (rotate with a separate radio hooked up and have the ability to use head tracking where if I look left the camera turns left). These are not plug and play. I am using systems designed for quadcopters and airplanes. The second question, predesignated set up is an option on HL tanks and it work off wifi. You can find info on getting these from the Toucan sites.

I definitely agree that having 2 cameras would be good. I have 1 Heng Long FPV camera on my Abrams in the gunner primary sight, but you can't see the hull of the tank at all so you have no idea which way you are facing if using the camera only. It's only OK for accurate shooting since it is offset. The Heng Long camera produces it's own WiFi signal that connects to an app on your phone. Range so far has been fine but I haven't used it a lot. Here's a sample I took last weekend:

There is no audio, and the recording is done on your phone. There is a camera port on the main board so you can turn it on/off, but also I believe if the tank is "killed" during IR battle, it kills the camera. On my Abrams, it has the 360 turret and slip ring; I found a spare jack on the board in the turret but it's power is "on" anytime the tank is on.

There is a camera slot on the MFU and you can turn it on and off with the controller.

ulf you can find the Wi-Fi stock camera at Toucan.
