David are you having any issues with running more then seven HL systems at a time? HL has said the maximum is seven at a time to ensure no radio interference I only ask because we have scene the interference happen at the LA battles. It usually is a forced shut down of a tank for no apparent reason and the tank will not restart unless turn completely off and then back on.

          • I haven't bumped into that issue yet. Maybe the size of the battlefield we have is larger. Maybe there is no real sized vehicles around the battlefield that might cause signals to bounce around likes in LA. I am just guessing. I don't know. I turn the tank on by myself one by one before handing each of them over to the guests.

            • FYI, there are 5 tanks that were donated to the club in this battle group for Sunday: three Stug IIIs, one Sherman and one M41. I would like to thank those 5 individuals for their efforts and their beliefs in our club.

              • It was the fastest four-hour event. We met so many new interesting people today. Most people applauded us for doing the event for their teens to come out of the houses to enjoy this outdoor activity. The rep from the City of Rowland Height came. He battled with us and loved it. He will definitely contact us again to set something up for us to be in his city. The reporter from the Daily Pilot came too. He took tons of pictures and interviewed us. He said he would feature our event in his newspaper. It was a great day.

                            • Because of the visit from the City official of Rowland Height and the newspaper reporter, I took out or covered all the WWII German symbols from their flags and tanks :-)
From now on, I will probably play with Blue and Red anywhere we have our event.

                              • David this is a smart decision on your part. Unfortunate and not historically accurate but the best way to grow the following you are looking for without drawing negative attention and incorrect assumptions. Save the correct flags for private events and display.

                                Keep it up David.

                                • Having generic flags allows the inclusion of all countries’ tanks without confusion. A Russian, German and American can all be on the same team if there is a preponderance of a particular nation. Good job.
Twenty six tanks, and not done yet!
