New T72 Pro issue

Hello,
New to the world of RC. Just finished setting up my Heng Long T72 Pro. Love it overall. One weird issue. The 6mm “bullets” don’t fit in the feed hole in turret. Any thoughts? Smaller ammo available? Safe to drill the opening?

It's not a hole for the pellets. There's a ramp that rolls the pellets forward.

P.S. Don't use the pellets that come with the tank. They are not polished and have a ridge that will cause feeding malfunctions. Purchase 6mm polished pellets online.

Good advice. I use these 20g, and they "pack a decent punch"...
