Okay, I'll bite. I think I missed exactly where both you guys, Bob & Rubi, got those E8 kits for converting the HL M4A3 Sherman into a "Easy Eight".
I've been holding off finishing my Sherman tank waiting for something like this.
Would you please post a url link to the person/company producing it.
Never mind. I just reviewed this thread and found whose making it.

I'd been waiting for this kit, and especially wanting to see how the fenders looked. They fit really well!

I just finished customizing my M4 Sherman with a recently purchased HVSS kit from Rich. This video is a short clip of its maiden run. As you can see it runs great! The build took about 20 hours. Major steps are cutting the hull to fit the new parts, sanding, drilling and fitting the moving suspension components and the fenders and painting, all of which needs to be done in a specific order. For instance each bogie and wheel assembly has I believe 30 separate parts. Parts are of very high precision, even given the vagaries of 3D printing. Fortunately Rich provides an exhaustive manual in a Word document. It's 48 pages long! The only difficulties I encountered, quite minor, was when I wandered off the path. I haven't added the wheel hubs yet, as I want to get it run-in first.

The turret is a prototype of the T23 Rich is developing, not part of the HVSS kit.

This is an "Alpha Run' of a Heng Long 1/16 scale M4 Sherman that has been customized with 3D Printed parts; HVSS suspension and a T-23 turret. 3DP parts prod...

After long last, the first batch of turrets is ready for purchase.
I am doing the mechanical assembly with the servos and the internals of the turret so the customer will just have to do the sanding and final model assembly.
Going price is $145 for these in the first batch.

Awesome work for a quality product. Probably the most feasible way to get an Easy 8 with the benefit of a Heng Long form factor underneath.

The turret won't arrive until 4/14. Additional work on the tank while waiting. Many thanks to Bob for leading the way. This one will join your platoon soon.

In continuing to improve my products I have contracted out the most difficult to assemble part n my hvss kit in my opinion. That is the two piece bogie arms.
I am now having JVM3Dconcepts make them for me as one piece arms in the second run of kits to eliminate that assembly that I feel is most crucial to good assembly and operation.
my test samples were superb and JVM informed me they finished them yesterday with a couple pics.
