The HL Merk is a substantial better RC tank "out of the box" then the TD M60. The M60 needs a bit of tweaking and depending on version (metal or plastic) this can add to the cost. Also the HL 7.0 is superior in overall functionality to the TD control system.

Can you post a few pictures of the HL Merkava that you purchased. It is difficult to apprehend in abstract.

Not yet, but it is starting to hit US distributers. Looks like they have also started making a full metal lower hull for it, but it is over $700 for just the lower at this point.

They are learning the ways of capitalism👍👍. I don't wrong them it is simple business 101 of supply and demand.

Yeah I'm waiting till mato up here in the north gets it or motion. Everyone talks up toucan but I have yet to see anything that makes me want to jump ship. The fact that they have changed the price twice now and everytime I want to order from them their site won't ship to Canada at random...

I received an email from my rep at Toucan. The Merkava will probably be in US warehouse by July.

At $99, this 1/12 Willy's Jeep is an excellent buy even as a die cast display model. I paid almost that much for an 1/18 scale display model. The RC gear is good and working. However, this Electronic Art license build RC Jeep is not the same as the 1/6 scale Roc Hobby RC model which has a strong 555 motor and excellent rock climbing capabilities. The build quality and appearance of the smaller copy are very good.

    Good find.

    That is Correct!

It's also an issue that I brought up to Motion when I bought my Panther G Pro last September. Especially since their description on their site at the time stated Metal for Road wheels, Tracks, Sprocket & Idle, after I brought it to their attention they changed it. Not all of the Pro Models from Motion include all metal running gear. I had previously thought that was the case for "Pro" models. When I got my T34-85 Pro from Toucan it came with all metal running gear.

Go figure that my KV1 Upgrade that I got from Motion Had Metal swing arms and the rest plastic.
