I'm planning on stripping a paint scheme from one of my tanks. I used to have a product that was sort of caustic to my hands but didn't harm a plastic Heng Long tank. I thought it was "Gunk" but I can't be sure. Any recommendations out there?

Soaked my 30 year old Warhammer 40K minis in this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Cle...p&athbdg=L1103
Let them sit in solution for over 24 hours and no deformation of the plastic. It removed both acrylic and enamel paint from them. You still want to wear gloves when using this stuff, but it's not as caustic as most stuff and it is bio-degradable.

If it is a repainted tank, easy-off oven cleaner works great and won’t hurt the plastic. I’ve done it a lot on my scale plastic models. Goggle it for more info.Comment
