  • Upgrade 90mm Heng Long Pershing barrel available soon.

I have been working on a few projects and one is about ready. A replacement barrel for the stock (toy like) Heng Long M26 Pershing that is more accurate in length and profile, similar to the discontinued Tamiya 90mm Pershing barrel. You will though need to reuse your HL muzzle brake.

The barrel is intended for use with various servo recoil upgrades and or just as a static barrel, like stock, just better looking. It is not designed to support the airsoft feature of the tank.

The barrels will be 3D printed using high quality resin for a smooth almost injection molded finish and will have metal a bore sleeves for added strength. The bore sleeve is wide enough for a variety of flash LEDs and IR bulbs.

Here is a sneak peek. More photo to follow soon.

Maybe Bob 🤞🤞we are working on one at this time. It would be something in between the Tamiya and HL version quality wise. Running test prints on it soon. But for now having to reuse the HL brake makes it simple and cheaper for most people right now.

Test designs of early and Korean era brakes. These are not the final version but close, some minor tweaks are being made. Also will have the Korean ear barrel with fume extractor.

          Early brake.

First batch of preproduction barrels are finished. Shown here are both types, the early “WW2” barrel and the later Korean era barrel with forward fume extractor. The majority of the Pershing to see action during their service lives had the later version barrel with fume extractor.

Also shown is the optional early or “WW2” muzzle brake. The later Korean era “short” brake will be available as an option as well.

Both barrel types will come with a full length metal bore sleeve that will accommodate the majority of flash LEDs or IR bulbs commonly used in 1/16 RC tanks.

Early barrel “WW2” and some Korean War.

First five are SOLD!! Thank you. I have a few left so if you are interested in one or two of them PM me for details, options and pricing. If you are even thinking about building up an M26 Pershing grab one while you can and pack it away.

Also because I was asked, YES I do have and Instagram profile for 3D printing projects, JVM3DConcepts. We do more then just tank and model parts.
