  • Stug 3 side armor

    Just ordered HL Stug 3!

Does anyone know where I can buy a set of side armor and mounting brackets? I would gladly pay for a 3d printed set or a paper pattern copied from a set owned by someone.
    Thanx,
    Chuck

Hi Chuck 4 posts down from yours is a post discussing exactly what you are looking for. Including links, pictures and information for this topic as well as where you can buy them:

I would like to add some side skirts to any one of my panzers. Does any member know a retailer that sells them? Panzer III, IV, or V. I don't see any on Ebay. Has anyone made a pair at home? If so, can you share some measurement for me to make them too? Thank you!

    Happy tanking,

    Chef

      Thanx Chef.
I looked at the links but they are for panzers not stugs, unless I missed something-I do have terrible eyesight...

Here I found these. I don't vouch for them but I've seen them on sale on Amazon and Ebay as well.

CNC machined side skirts and polystyrene holder for the StuG III of Heng Long it is the complete set! With installation instructions. Scope of delivery: 1x...

You could ask DavidN who had that post going if he knows where else to get them.

              Just my .02 cents.....

Step 1. Screen capture of the Armor pictures
Step 2. Plastruct or Evergreen 2mm Sheet Styrene
Step 3. Plastruct or Evergreen Square, I-Beam, Box Channel Styrene
Step 4. Styrene Cement,, Tamiya, Mr. Cement S, Etc.
              Step 5. X-Acto Knife.

If you model, most of this stuff is probably on hand already.
