How did you get the free shipping quote? Torro.de want 84euro for Fedex shipping in my quote. I have had a Torro.de account for a long time. The shipping from Europe is a show stopper.

Well, the current price isn't bad. The last time I looked at the Torro M16, the price was over $400 dollars. I'm more interested in the spare parts that are no longer available. I hope as many that want the M16 Halftrack get one at the current price before they're gone again.

I only know the imexrc.com as the US Torro distributor, but their M16 price is much higher than your quote. The prices of a few offers by Ebay sellers are all much higher too.

I think you kinda missed out on the lower price period. The price is now $20 higher. You can still save as they have the Independence day sale for 10% using code USA10.

I am not missing it at all, just curious. The M16 half-track in 1:16 scale is small and basically an indoor RC model. I prefer the full track tank for outdoor runs.

I agree it's best for indoors. I like it because it's nicely detailed as a model kit would be with the added benefit of it being RC. It looks great with my tanks, and with my static 1/16 Franklin Mint Williys Rocket Jeep. My M16 doesn't get much use, but it serves it's purpose well for the price I paid for it more than ten years ago.

That's a good way to go!!! AHHQ'S 1/16 model kits made by Tankom have very good details, and some kits have options to model the beginning, or the end of WW-II.
