T34 main cannon not working

I'm new to the rc tank world, and I just bought my first rc tank, the Heng long T34/85. Everything works fine except the main cannon doesn't work.

No sound when I press the "B" button on the transmitter.

No tank recoil.

Basically nothing! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hold down the "B" button then hold down the "A" button at the same time.
