  • Heng long panther G smoke unit smells burning after repairing.

I went through the process of repairing a flooded smoker unit in a heng long panther G by replacing a cotton ball, Now when I activate it it smells burnt, Is this normal?

Thoughts: was the original “cotton” ball really cotton? Is the new material acting as the wick to the heating element or are you still using the original wick? Could there be too little liquid now? The vaporizing liquid cools the heating element, too little and things burn.
