Members of Socal RC Tank Club decided to skip their April event and will attend this event on 4/28/24.

Getting the big tanks ready for the battle at the end of the month.
the San Diego field is a great place to use on the bigger and faster tanks that are harder to battle in the tighter smaller fields

Also a publice notice. The new "V3 low profile" LegoDEI receiver is not allowed to be used in your tank in San Diego because of the reduced range it offers. In San Diego we engage at much longer distances than smaller fields like LA.

I have a partial decal set I will bring to the 4/28 meet. It's DKLM's set for the 1/16 Churchill. It had decals for three tanks. I took one set, don't need the others; "Briton" and "Ben Nevis". $10 takes it.

I did "Iceni".

curious question. how long does one battle last there at that spot? oh and looks like too much fun.

A typical battle last about 15-25 minutes depending on the number of people on each side and their skill level.

Usually there are between 8-10 battles during the day and a time for just driving around and having fun on the field obstacles.
