Maybe Google for "Photo Etch Mesh"? There's some suppliers around for the boat- and train modellers. Just a question of finding the right size. Here's just one example I found; http://aliexpress.com/item/1005002177999692.html
    Sherman M4A3 105mm Houwitser / Sherman Firefly IC *under construction* / Panzer IV *awaiting side-grade from TK7.0S to TK6.0S* / Stug III / King Tiger / KV-1 *awaiting upgrade to TK6.0S* / Tiger I / T34-85 / Leopard 2A6 *waiting upgrade to TK7.0*... No, I do not have a problem....

Why not buy the Classy Hobby M5 and use all its high detail parts? If you look at Rich's M5, you 'll see etched grills. However, the CB M5 has its battery access at the rear deck, which may complicate your intentions.
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

Killerbody makes different forms of steel mesh. Sells it in small sheets.

You know those flat cooking screens with a handle that you lay on top of a frying pan to keep it from spattering? Those are perfect. I might have some photos from when I used that screen on my stug, I'll try to post one after work.

I used some metal mesh for my M60A1 rear turret basket that I found online. The company was Activa. They have two sizes, I used the small size.

              I finally bought from killerBody.
Fine product but not installed yet.
Final result once done will be quite impressive i guess

For a definite short cut with nearly no modification
I found that Photo Etch grilled that fit HENG LONG StugIII / Panzer III can do the job also.
By putting two in a row; adusting the lenght consequently.

Thanks to all !! enjoy your Stuart !
