  • looking for someone in the US to do some 3D printing for me

I'm looking for someone in the US that might be willing to print two items for me. It will take a print bed at least 14 inches square so my CR-10 won't do the job (that has a 12 inch bed). If you follow RCU you may remember when Pah Co Chu Puk 3D printed spare tracks for his Torro M16 halftrack. I have the stl file and we want to scale the tracks up to 1/6 scale. It has to be printed in a circle so it has to have a bed at least 14 inches square. Any printer with a 400 x 400mm bed (or bigger) will work, like the CR6 or CR4 or the S500. I need two tracks. I would send you the TPU or the money to order it, along with the stl file, which you would have to enlarge to 1/6 when you slice it. I think that's 256% but I'll get the exact number. Any left over filament will be yours to use as you see fit. Naturally I will cover all postage or other expenses, along with a reasonable printing fee.

If you have a printer big enough and want to help out a fellow American please post here or send a PM.

In case you don't see my response on RCU, I would give PCBWay a shot. You can get a free quote from them.

Thanks, tank_me, I did see the stuff at RCU and if I can't find anyone with a big enough printer I'll contact them. The guy I'm working with is thinking about buying a printer big enough to do the job so right now I'm just waiting to see how things play out.
