HL v7.0 sounds

I recently had to replace my HL receiver in my M1A2 tank. Upon completion of the binding of the new receiver I noticed that the engine sound now sounds like a diesel engine rather than the turbine sound from the original receiver. Is there a way to change the sounds to the turbine version?

I'm not positive about the 7.0, but in the versions before that they had 4 different soundtracks, and you could change them with the buttons on the front of the transmitter. Exactly how to do it can be found in the instruction manual for the tank.

Yes. It's in the manual. BUT you have to have the one with the Abrams sound. There are two different sound "packs" for the 7 systems. One pack has Tiger and T90 (most common pack) the other pack has Leopard 2 and Abrams. You have to specify when ordering which sound pack you want.

The bottom two buttons (G+K) will cycle the sound sets you have available. Your tank engine will power off every time you switch sounds. The 7.0's only have two sounds on the board, and if you got the diesel sounding one, likely you have the turbine sounding engine sounds as well.

The TK6.0 had 4 sound profiles in it. The TK7.0 only has 2. The remote controller (transmitter) is not compatible between the 6.0 and the 7.0.

You unfortunately bought the wrong one and no there is no way to change it to an Abrams without replacing the mainboard again. There are a lot of sellers that don't specify the sound set that is on the board because they don't know the difference or that there are two different boards. You have to buy the replacement from a company that allows you to choose the sound set:
