Help needed / Painting guideline camo scheme w/ schurzen PZIV

Want to do a paint job on my ''old'' HL PZIV F2 Tank.
Based on this 1943 eastern front camo scheme.

By doing so ; putting stripe of Dark yellow & Olivegrûn over the Dunkelgrau base.
Is it historically accurate if i put a turret Schurzen w/ same color camo scheme pattern on the tank??
Obviously i prioritize equally a expressive/artistic approach and a realistic approach to this project.

I am no expert by any means but love the Panzer IVs If you want to stay within the 12th Panzer Division Hitler Youth you might have to research more. Most of the Camo schemes with Shurzen seem more blotchy to me and not like what you pictured if your going for 12 SS Div.in the picture above. Camo was always mutating. Anyway, lots of fun and thanks for trying to keep it real. Most people don't care. I'll keep my eyes open for suggestions.

Found this picture of a static model of a PZIV fitted with schurzen in dunkelgrau
IS it likely possible (within the realm of possibilities) that some PZIV appear this way in some point in WW2 ??
Stuck with the idea that since the implementation of the schurzen occur in '43 , that all panzer was painted in camo scheme by this time (factory and/or field).

I think Dunkelgrau is a bit of a stretch for 43, More Battle of Stalingrad colors. My Battle of Kursk Panzer IV doesn't have Shurzen but the colors are Gelbraun with lots of olive drab added and Grau with some Braun.

your cammo scheme sounds very plausible. As for skirts on an F2; again very plausible. I have an ancient 1/18th RC Pz4F1 from 21st Century with turret skirts. Found pics on the net of that exact config. Guess a field mod.

I guess this is the 21st century PZIV w/ turret schurzen you mentionned.
Dark yellow out of the factory fitted with schurzen.

And still,..
I will sum it up with this phrase i read somewhere:
"NEVER" and "ALWAYS" share a property: neither is actually true everywhere or everytime! Specially when it comes to German WWII paint-schemes and applications!

The key word on the post above was ''research''
no conclusive picture evidence obtained.(of camo scheme + schurzen turret.)
Still what a interesting period of transition where ''old'' PZ Tank in their old gray base was painted over by new colors emitted by the OKH of the german army.
