  • Toucan Hobby offers

A Panzer III with steel gearbox, metal tracks, metal drive wheels and metal idler wheels came up on Aussie Ebay by Toucan.
I kept an eye on it for a couple of days when an email came through for offers. I offered approx 10% less because that seems a good figure and many places do discounts of way more than that these days.
Their counter offer was $1.90 discount!
They can get lost, so I bought one from another seller. :)

Very curious about how much cheaper you paid compared to the Toucan counteroffer? Any RC tank seller who can beat Toucan in price is worth keeping on my list.

The Toucan Hobby US Store priced the HL customized metal version Panzer III at $223 plus shipping.

The Spam guys get more creative every day. What does basketball anything have to do with RC tanks?

Outside of the usa toucan doesn't have any deals worth considering. Seeing as how op is in Australia his opinion on Toucan makes sense

Yeah a bit of a joke with a discount of $1.90.
The one I ended up buying was this one for $290 AU including post, which at today's current price is $193 US.

All power to you finding an AU local seller. Australia is much closer to China than US so the wholesale shipping cost is much cheaper. Retail price for HL RC tanks should be cheaper in general when compared to US retail.

Toucan Hobby can offer good price to US buyer only for those items they have stock in the US store.

I get a kick out their accounts on eBay, all selling out of the same warehouse, every once in awhile you get the idea their having some kind of office fight because it seems like a price war starts now and then.

Been like that for.... well, always. Pick one and send them a offer. If within reason they'll take it.
