Reuse the bullets for Heng Long RC Tank?

Hello,
I have a Heng Long RC Tank. I wonder I could reuse the bullets as long as they are clean or I had to keep buying.
Any advice? Thanks in advance

In the air soft world; the HL bbs would have been immediately tossed for better made bbs if you were to want air soft shooting. Even the Crossman’s at the local Arkansas Embassy sports dept are better.

that plus the little shooting mech could face all kinds of issues if dirt gets inside of it from a re-used bb.

Whenever I get a new airsoft tank the very first thing I do is throw away the bbs that came with it.

You can get new bbs in a lot of places but the most important thing to remember is that the label must have the word "seamless" on it. You will see a lot of cool words on the labels, like match grade, or double Polished, but the most important word you're looking for is seamless. If the label doesn't say seamless, don't buy them. The problem is that if your bbs are not seamless the seam on the bb will eventually tear the rubber seal in the air soft unit and cause the unit to fail.

And I never, ever reuse my bbs.

And don't let my join date here fool you, I got my first RC Tank in 2012 and I've had a LOT of experience with airsoft tanks.

i have never seen a high quality bag of pellets say seamless and i play airsoft going through 10k+ pellets a year.


as for the op you shouldnt reuse bb's but the airsoft gun in a heng long tank isnt high quality or powerful enough to have to worry. use what came with the tank, buy more at canadian tire or walmart or where ever near you sells those cheap clear guns that break in a day. the pellets wont jam the barrels oversized and, the gun wont crack the pellets its only about 140fps.

I've seen all different kinds of failures, but the large majority is from damage to the seal, usually caused by dirt or the seam on the BBs. Even Taigen Tanks recommend you don't use the BBs that come with the tanks. But you do what you want to, Jerry, it's your tank, and when the unit fails I'll tell you how to fix it. Ahh that's why, those match grade bbs are the same stuff that I told Op to buy at Walmart.

And don't think I'll need that video, tiger in my profile has made it 4 years of mistreatment and reusing floor bb's. Systems are way less frail then they made them 7 years ago.
