In the early days of my Tongde M60A1 ownership, I ordered all my metal upgrade parts from DKLMRC.com because they were the only source. DKLM shipping for parts is very reasonable and competitive with other sellers, US or China. Their shipping for complete RC tank, RTR or kit, is quite high because they ship by air only.
For complete tank, Nova Hobby of Canada, MotionRC and Toucan Hobby can ship much cheaper from North America.

I'm in the same boat as you right now with parts. I sold my excess M60A3 turret in favor of my A2 conversion and I think I sent my turret ring with it. I can't seem to find it and the TongDE turret ring is a different bolt pattern. It's not a project killer as I'm sure I could find a suitable replacement to 3D print in the like 30 sets of tank STL files I have, but I just haven't dedicated the time to that. It's stopping me from finishing the A2 project.

My upgrade version is from Motion, swapped out the radio for an HL 7.0 and installed bearings in the wheels and arms, all I run it on is mowed grass and dirt, haven't had any issues yet, but I know the plastic gearbox will pooch eventually at the very least, only real complaint is lack of replacement detail parts, been out of stock since I bought the tank and I mucked them up pretty good.Leave a comment:

If you get the metal version Tongde M60, I am against substituting the metal tracks with plastic tracks. Keep the metal tracks and do 2 upgrades:- Replace the 380 drive motors with a pair of high quality 390's.
- Replace the TD radio with a HL Tk-7.0 set. It will double the control range.

I take a look around the Tongde RC tank parts sellers, I agree with RichJohnson that the plastic version TD M60 is "not upgradeable". The problem is NOT technical. It is the way TD chose to market their upgrade product.
When I did my upgrade a year ago, I got the suspension arms at AliExpress for a set of 12 pieces at under $40 shipped. TD dealers sell the suspension only one piece at a time now. The suspension arm is a simple, light weight item, but the TD dealers want buyer to pay the shipping 12 times to get a set. The total cost of a suspension arm set at over $100 is unreal. By comparison, the Heng Long suspension arm set are easily available at $30-40. Tongde also market a metal upgrade set with tracks, sprocket, arms, road wheels etc at $130. But the $100 shipping from China is not good.
If you want a metal version TD M60, the best deal is at BangGood.

The seller is toucanhobby.com whom is a reputable merchant for RC toys. I am satisfied with their customer service department.
I got a Tongde basic version M60 early on. Yes, it comes with plastic suspension arms that I replaced. I agree that an all plastic RC tank is too light to run outdoor. But it should be upgradeable just like mine.

I’ve said this before many times, these plastic m60s are just not worth buying. They are only safe to drive inside.
Also, this could be the real low grade tank model. There is a very cheap, very basic rc m60 that TD has made and some distributors have that has different control arms and such and they do not come apart. It’s not upgradeable. This one could be that version since it’s cheaper.

It is only the plastic basic version, but is a good runner for pathed surfaces or indoor. Since so many of our forum members who purchased the metal version opted for the plastic tracks, you may be able to swap the tracks with them at low cost. Add a pair of metal sprocket and idler wheel from Toucan Hobby for $20-30, you get a very capable outdoor tank. Metal gearbox is nice to have, but not a requirement. Metal road wheel is not recommended.
