TK7.0 wanting to STEAL sound only

Is it possible? I’ve been modding and have my flysky ST8 along with esc’s, receiver switches and gadget operating every function of a Heng long Abram’s with the TK7.0.is there some magic way to get sound functions and hack into it? Or does anyone make a stand alone tank sound kit ? I’m just experimenting more than anything and ok with NO sound . Thanks gang

Short answer...no.

Long answer, you can add sound without a control board but you will need a sound card like a Benedini or DasMikro. What you won't get without a control board is the IR battle functions unless you use something like an Arduino. They make RC switches that are controlled by PWM outputs. Whether or not you have the ability to get all the stuff running depends on how much you know about RC gear and how to program your radio/soundcard.

If you are asking whether or not you can use your ST8 for everything and just use the HL board for sound...no, not unless you have the ability to rewire the HL circuit board as the HL uses a proprietary radio to control the functions of the control board which includes the sound. I've never seen a diagram of how it's wired so without that schematic, you would be flying in the dark as how to rewire it. I'm not an electrical engineer so I wouldn't have any clue how to rewire it. I have not seen any posts in the last 15 years of anyone hacking the sound module on a HL board.

Or buy a Clark TK 60 and a sound programmer. You can do almost anything you want.
