  • Misleadingly picture from supplier / PANTHER camo ambush

    With all reservations
While searching a special RC tank edition from supplier around the globe.
I found a RC 1/16 Panther G tank w/ the camo ambush pattern.
From a supplier store located in CAN; the amazing RC store.

I was intrigued to say the least, since i never saw anywhere else this modified/special edition .
With very poor description of the product; ommision of the company that produce the tank !?
With the range of the price tag ; i assume it is a HL.
    Furthermore:
I receive evasive answer specifically on the camo pattern from the store.
Then a realize that they use a pic from the RC TAMIYA Panther G kit that was release in 2021 (TBC).
So beware before to click the buy button if mesmerized by the camo ambush pattern!
    Cheers PZloco

It is terrible for that Canadian store to use Tamiya picture for their non-Tamiya sale.

Heng Long does have a customized upgrade version of the Panther G that is painted similar to, but different from the Tamiya offer.

Well the Tamiyas product add itself is misleading because their panther does not come painted like that at all. It is simply tan plastic. If you want it to look like the photo on the box you have to paint it that way yourself.

So regardless of mystery band X, HL or Tamiya if you want a nice paint scheme you are going to have to paint it yourself.

A lot of these internet retailers have no clue what they are selling. They are equally bad at maintaining their websites and setting them up. Half the time they are just drop shipping from somewhere else. It just goes to show that it pays to buy from a reputable seller regardless of price or what the item is. If we on these forums aren't talking about it, it usually doesn't exist. A lot of us are on multiple forums and Facebook. There tends to be posts on most new items that hit the market.
