    How does the volume work on my tiger 1

    Depends on what brand it is. Torro/Taigen has a volume control near the power switch usually, Heng Long uses the transmitter to control the sound (see instructions - press V button and use the control stick 1 up or down), or Tamiya uses a volume control on the MFU.

      Taigen/Torro use old design with the sound amplifier in a separate enclosure. I like the Heng Long software controlled sound volume much better. The HL TK-7.1S MFU is a well thought out design.
