I am having issues with my Jadpanther . First my infrared emitter is not working but my receiver does. I have checked to make sure it is plugged into the correct port . Next my tank recoil does not work but i still can adjust the level of recoil. Also, no sound when firing the main gun t has the 7.0 receiver installed with the upgraded smoke system, which works awesome . Is the programming for the tank recoil in the receiver ? Does anyone have the wire color code for each port ? Any help would be appreciated .

Have you seen that the IR bulb isn't working? You ask how can you see it if it's infrared? If you have a smart phone, you can start your phone camera, point it in front of the LED, fire the gun, and the LED should light up purple in the phone camera. The IR emitter should be in port CN15. It sounds by your description that there might be an issue with port CN6 which is the port connected to the micro switch trigger. Some have had those switches go bad or out of alignment. If the switch isn't triggered, the gun will not fire.

If you are using an aftermarket IR emitter, we’ve found that the red/black coding is sometimes wrong. Reversing the plug solves that. As far as the color codes, the transmitter instruction manual shows what color goes where. If you don’t have one, it can be found online. The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

With the help of EvanD we figured out the problems. It appears the micro switch wasn't triggering the recoil or emitter. Swapped it out with a spare and that solved the recoil issue but not the emitter. First it was not seated in the mantle properly and it appears to be faulty. Replaced that with a spare and now all is good. Thanks for the advice on the micro switch! Thanks Evan !
