  • Tamiya Tank Body recoil And Battle system

Hello all: I have recently acquired a Tamyia Tiger. Used to have 2 in the early 000's The Body recoil is not much. How do I adjust it? Maybe It's not working. Also what is the best battle system to use? I think this one is 10 years old but I don't know. Are any compatible with the Hen Long System or any others? Also has any one tried to add a smoker to these?

    Thanks

One of the two Controllers ( not sure which one, the DMD or the MF ) should have a switch for defining the Model as either Light, Medium or Heavy which I BELIEVE besides defining how many shots the Model can take will also has an affect on the Recoil Strength. Other than switching out the Control System there's not much you can do about it ( MAYBE reduce the slack in the Tracks as the more you have the less pronounced the Recoil will be? AFAIK, with the Track taught on the underside the top should - from its own weight - only start coming into contact with the top of the second Roadwheel ).
As far as I've understood ( have not compared it myself ) Tamiya seems to have the best Battle System with how it operates and how reliable it is but that is perhaps not gonna help you much if everyone else around you is using something different as compatibility isn't exactly a high priority between them. Some Systems have limited compatibility between them, others do not... If you're desperate you can get things to work together with something like a Translation Board like the MAKO.
