When I added just a Clark board for my Chieftain to the cart the shipping was 99.99 pounds. The tank is also 99.99 pounds to ship so I'm assuming he is charging a flat rate for anything going to the US. Looks like about $970.17 USD.

I received the response from Andrew. It is 167 pounds for shipping/import tax/duty. Around $1053 total.

Mine, now has a high speed turret motor fitted, to give a more accurate time of rotation. Down from 9 seconds to 3 seconds. Thanks to Mr Chef, and Tank_me for the link to the motor. I also ended up reworking the pipes for the guns, to give better smoke.

If that is the case about the turret rotation speed, can you kindly provide me with the info on where to get the motor? And maybe a few pictures on where it will be placed?

I hope Mr Chef and Tank_me will not mind me posting this link? As it was those pair, that found it, so the credit goes to them.

It is a straight forward replacement for the original. You need to enlarge two of the fixing holes, in the motor housing. Otherwise it swoops out like for like.

That's a good price. I asked Toucan last week, they wanted $45. Certainly worth the gamble. i just ordered two.

The high speed boxes are great for quick traverse in battles, a little over-sensitive when you're aiming for sniping at long range. I have them in modern tanks.
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

NP. I run them in all my modern tanks also. I bought like 10 of them when they first came out since I have so many projects in the hopper. I think I'm down to two in the stash now. The old rotations get repurposed in my WW2 tanks.

Ive been stocking these High speed rotation units for a while now. It guess its my best kept secret since I dont have them on my website. I sell them for $20 pluss tax in CA and shipping.
They do need to have a screw removed from one of the three holes and then drill it out so that it mounts in the traditional rotation spot. These are desinged for the merkava with one pivot screw and a spring that pulls them against the turret gear.

My friend and I bought a couple from Aliexpress back when the photo appeared but we got standard 7.0 black units. Alie ripped us off. So I went to my supplier and brought in a case of them.

Ordered Thursday night last week. It arrived this afternoon when I came home from work. Only 4 days from the UK. Andrew from Haya tested it before he packed it too.

I’m doing preliminary research in getting some photo etch parts made for these. These are to include the drivers hatch cover, the donkey engine exhaust covers, the intake for the donkey engine, and the rear turret collar. This will not be for a couple of weeks, as I am away, and I need a meeting with a potential manufacturer, so looking to the early part of May, before this will happen. I am also gaging interest, on here, before moving forward. Obviously it will be dependent on price. More to follow when I know more.

Update - mine showed up on 4/2, from my order on 3/28. They were exactly as advertised. One is installed already in a Tongde M60.

                                  David, will you try something?
try putting your tracks from the henglong Pershing like that are on the ez8 kit I made, onto the gepard and see if they fit. They won’t be long enough but I would like to know if they fit the sprocket.
The Tamiya leopard and gepard use Tamiya Sherman and Pershing track which is the same as henglong Pershing track.
Im really curious if the henglong Pershing track fits on the gepard sprocket.

Detailing on the rear end being addressed. Next job will be to remove the additional taillights, and infill the resulting holes. This will have the correct red reflectors fitted.

The rear tow hook went absent without leave, during yesterday’s run. I was the incorrect type, so no real hardship.

You can tell the difference between my battler tanks and display tanks. The latter still have their tow hooks!

Battling is nowet. 6 year olds are far harder on tanks 😆

                                          Anyway, new mudguards arrived today.

Further trimming and removal of plastic, results in quite a large hole. Rather more trimming required is required to fit these, to the Haya Gepard, than than the Tamiya Leopard 1, which they a presumably designed for. The frontal area, is a different shape from the Gepard, to the Leopard 1.

Final dry dry fit . Now to repeat on the left side, and find some 1mm bolts.
