The L.A. Tank 2025 season and our 13th year as a club has officially come to a close, and it was truly one for the record books.
The 2025 season marked a significant transition in club leadership, as our longtime president retired from his role. With this change, our new president committed to elevating and rebuilding our field props to an entirely new standard and that vision became a reality.
Guests, visitors, and members alike have described the new props as worthy of a “Hollywood production.” The upgraded battlefield now features three distinct environments: Gothic ruins, a Middle Eastern desert village, and a European village. In total, the field includes 40 large custom-built structures and more than 100 additional obstacles. Bringing this ambitious project to life was only possible thanks to the assistance, dedication, and extensive modeling experience of our longtime members.
We would first like to extend our sincere thanks to Tony Harvard for his outstanding work securing the grants that provided the resources needed to move forward with these upgrades. Without his knowledge and experience, this vision might have remained just an idea rather than a reality.
We also want to recognize several members for their tireless efforts in field prop construction, painting, and finishing throughout the year. A special shout-out goes to Tony, Vince, James, “G-Dog,” John, “T-Man,” and Miguel. Your hard work truly shows. Outstanding job.
Two special acknowledgments are also in order. First, thank you to Craig, owner of the American Military Museum, for his continued support and for generously opening the museum to our club’s events. Craig, thank you for 13 incredible years of partnership, and we look forward to many more. Second, we extend our gratitude to Nikki’s Custom Creation for the high-quality promotional items provided to our members and guests, including T-shirts, coffee mugs, tote bags, and metal drink tumblers. Nikki has been a tremendous asset to the club since attending an early 2025 event with her son.
Finally, we want to thank all of our longtime and new members for your continued support, participation, and enthusiasm throughout the 2025 season. Without you, L.A. Tank would not be the leader in RC tank battling on the West Coast, or the world-renowned organization it is today.
Looking ahead to 2026, we have even more exciting plans in store, including additional unrivaled field props and special giveaways. Until then, we wish you a very blessed and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2026.
