L.A.Tank club January 2026 opening event.

This Saturday January 10th is the opening day for the 2026 L.A. Tank club battle season. This is our 14th year and we are excited for the many planned RC tank events being held this year at our sponsor's facility, The American Military Museum.

Note: There is a museum entrance fee of $5. This goes directly to supporting the museum not the L.A.Tank club.

Theme for this Saturdays event is "forest battle" The field set up / layout will slightly favor the larger tanks at this event.

It was fun. My poor TACH Panzer couldn't hit the buildings unless I ran into them LOL. I replace the IR bulb when I got home. Hope it helps. I have no way to test it. Any suggestions?

Use your phone camera to look at the bulb during a firing sequence. The camera will be able to pick up the bulb glowing purple. If the bulb does not glow during firing then the wires are most possibly reversed.

If so the easiest way to fix this is to simply swap the lines around at the plug end. This will keep you from having to take the entire turret apart once again.

If it lights up then it will hit a receiver.

                Hopes this helps a little.
