  • Heng Long Russian KV-1 Decals

Hi, just throwing this out there. Pictured are the decals that are included with the Heng Long WWII Russian KV-1 tank. Is it just me or do the numbers on the sheet (the B&W 3878) look like they belong on a German Panzer? Did Heng Long make a mistake with this one? The font and design looks as though they would be historically inaccurate.

If there are large decals I will scan them onto my computer, print a copy, cut it out, use it as a stencil, and airbrush them on. With KV decals that works well as they are usually very large.

The numbers you are referring to, are the Heng Long product number.

As Meter Rat said, those are the product number. There are tons of KV pics on the net. The one I depicted was an actual vehicle. Peddinghaus makes decals and so does Star, but I didn't see any for the KV anymore. My set was purchased years ago and looked like this one, but I don't see it in 1/16 anymore:

Thank you for the info. Now that I realized those are the product numbers, I have to figure out a safe way to remove them from the turret without damaging the paint and the plastic. That's another discussion.
