  • MotionRC website problem

What is the website problem at MotionRC? Whenever I tried to enter, the page was immediately covered with junk mail asking me to subscribe to a supposedly MotionRC weekly junk mail. There appears to be no way to bypass it to see the product page. Is the website taken over by hacker?

    I have no problem.

      None for me either.
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

Mine is also fine. However, I have 3rd party cookies blocked, as well as pop-ups blocked.

Sounds like you are being attacked by Malware.

The problem began after I upgraded to Windows 11. Many other store websites started requesting me to subscribe to their news email, which I can choose accept or decline. MotionRC is the only one that will not take "NO". I hope that someone from MotionRC will contact me.

You may have the keys to my problem in W11 which I found much less customizable than W10. I hope I can figure out how to do what you did.

If you are using Chrome or Edge, look at the top right corner of the screen. Click on the 3 dots and look at every line to see if there is something that you can tailor to your needs. Near the bottom of that list, you will see "settings". Do same in settings and check every line, open them up and you should eventually find a menu dealing with cookies and pop ups. Activate, turn off or disable, whichever suits your needs. Additionally, some "extensions" can create undesireable issues. Get out of the all the settings menu and close the browser completely. Open it up and see if that did anything.

When I first started using Win11 I remember seeing a lot of reviews recommending a list of programs and features built into it that should be turned off or changed to smooth out the operation. I went through and disabled about 14 features that really improved operation. Maybe one of those is causing your problems.

Do you have a link to the most helpful article on what turn off or change to smooth out the Windows 11 operation?

If you google " what to disable in Win11 " you will get many links to choose from. This one covers the most useful ones.

                          MotionRC.com problem solved.

I must reduce the page zoom setting to 90% or smaller to see the closing sign "X" on the upper right corner of the popup.
