Here are the 6 versions of the M4 tanks produced by the company names Large Hatch. Two of our club's members got the version 1 and 4. I have just ordered the version # 2. It won't be here till 5/15//26. I will look at the other 2 tomorrow at our event.

#Note: 1. Smoking oil cannot be sent by international express. You need to buy smoke oil (ethylene glycol) locally. 2. This tank is manufactured in an partial-metal die-casting process. Due to how paint adheres to metal surfaces and the nature of die-casting, there may be uneven paint finishes or surface irregularities

Modifying the barrel recoil unit; switching the IR emitter; adding barrel flash; adding MG LED at front of turret.

Are you converting to a HL 7.1 MFU?
what so you think about the rest of the tank model?

No! I keep the same board. I like its controller too. Its board is almost 99% similar to HL 7.0 board. It can be used with the LegoDEI receiver. So it can battle with HL and Tamiya battle systems. It also come with its two unique engine sounds: Continental and Ford. The drive is quite smooth. The teeth of the sprockets fit well with the metal track links. I will finish it by Saturday and battle it on Sunday to see how it fights.

David, thanks for the info. Let us know about this:

How does the steering with the NF board compare to HL? HL turns smoother than TD.
How does the "shake when hit" compare to the HL? HL is milder than TD.
Does it have adjustable track tension?
How does one change out the battery?

Also when you run it in battle, let us know if it's vulnerable to detracking. Rich's kit seems to be "bulletproof". It has NEVER detracked in my use, Rich's either I'm told.

                  Thanks!
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

I am curious if the henglong Pershing track will fit on the tank, if it did that would mean that Tamiya Sherman track would fit.
i really don’t care for metal tracks unless they are supposed to be metal and even then, plastic usually run better.

The way to open the tank is just like the Tamiya Sherman tank: Pry the 2 latches at each side. The tank comes with a 4000 mAh battery attached by 2 rubber bands inside. I can take it out to recharge it if I want to. Nothing in the manual mentions track tension and I don't see any either. It runs and turns very smooth. It receives IR hits similar to the HL: shake side to side around 5mm sometimes and doesn't shake at all sometimes.

Thanks David. Hey, in your picture take a look at the two nuts under the speaker on the sidewall. Those look like adjustable fasteners for something. Tensioners, maybe?

Also, any particulars about the gearbox; the case looks plastic, but any guesses about the gears themselves?

Good eyes Bob! You were right! Those two nuts are for adjusting the idler's to add/reduce tension on the tracks. And for the gearboxes, I don't want to open it. However, the description stated that they are metal.

You are a wealth of information, David! It’s so valuable to get details about this new company’s product. Hope there will be more from them in the future. Do you suppose there is a way you could post a picture or something of the instruction sheet?
