I use the Heng Xin all metal gearbox on the Heng Long 3898 Sherman M4A3 too. The gearbox is a very easy fit, but limited to 380 motors. I use Tamiya standard 380 with power to spare for the Mato metal tracks. Highly recommended combo. Mato's 1/16 metal tracks are currently the most realistic and highest quality metal tracks available for the M4A3.

Done.....I installed the new V4 LegoDEI IR receiver into it. I also added a LED light similar to what Bob did for his search light on top of the turret since that piece was hollow. I was able to stick a light bulb inside.

Their Sherman’s look pretty good, it’s just the barrel hurts my eyes it’s so ugly. The shape and taper is all wrong and the muzzle collar thing whatever it is is just obtuse looking. Maybe I should make scale barrels for these things. Taigen’s bartel, while larger than scale to fit a bb, is done pretty well.

The shipping cost is one of the first thing I look for!!! Good price on the item usually says they're making their money off of the shipping!!!!!!!!!
