Hi I'm still working through all my problems with this setup. I've got most things working now apart from the muzzle flash but my main problem is when I drive foreword and turn right the vehicle turns right and the same thing with left turn driving foreword But when you turn on the spot without foreword or backwards motion the turns are reversed! I'm using mix mode 1 tank mode 1 with mode 2 on the transmitter thanks

More than likely your motors are wired incorrectly. Either the positive and negative need to be reversed or they need to be moved from the left to the right or both. You are going to have to play with different wiring combinations to figure out which motor (or if both motors) are wired incorrectly. I'm going to assume you are using the JST (white) connectors that go into the board? If so, you can depress the little metal tab while gently removing the wire to swap polarity. And yes, that means that you may be connecting a red wire to the negative port or a black wire to a positive port. On DC motors, the position of the red and black wires determines the direction of the motor. Wiring them backwards will just make the motor run in a different direction. I does not harm the motor.
This ONLY applies to the DC motors. Wiring other connections backwards will burn up the board or what you plugged into it.

Aloha,
first thing is I prefer Mode 3 on the board which eliminate the pivot turn which can case track from coming off.
when you push stick forward without turning does tank move in correct direction?
on the flysky radio I use mode 3 for driving.
you may have to adjust the trims on the radio to get the tank driving straight. .

I'm using mode 2 transmitter and yes when driving foreword it's the right direction but when pivot turning its the wrong /reverse direction and actually it's starting working correctly this afternoon but I didn't do anything it just started to work correctly so it's probably going to go wrong again soon I would think
