My Heng Long Panther G Build

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my Heng Long Panther G with the community. I have been working on improving its appearance and overall performance while keeping the classic Panther G look. It has been a fun project, and I am pleased with how it is coming together.

I am still considering a few upgrades, especially for the running gear and exterior details. I would like to make it look more realistic without changing its original character too much.

What do you think of the current setup? Are there any upgrades or modifications that you would recommend to improve either the scale realism or driving performance? I would love to hear your suggestions and see how other Panther G owners have customized theirs.

Have one of their G’s myself. Not a Panther guru, but these look to be late G’s so no need for Zimmerit unless wanted.
Only mod I wanted to do first is repaint the wheels to the red-brown / primer as I read somewhere that as the factories were running out of the “required” cammo colors the factories were using.

Even read of stocks of panzer gray over the red primer, or all primer…. Which may support the myth of the “pink Panther” seen in SEA, a rust encrusted G?

ETA - or duplicate the “Cookoo” G used as a trophy by the Brits.
