Questions about new Tongde AAVP-7A1 RAm model from Tongde coming soon -

I am very interested in the all-new Amtrack coming from TongDe next month (October 2026). Officially the new tank is designated "AAVP-7A1 RAM/RS" and is actually what the US Marines referred to as the AMTRAC (for "AMphibious TRACtor"). And what really made my "ears prick up" about it, was finding out this is not just another R/C tank - because you can get a special version that is amphibious!

Anyway, I might be preaching to the choir by now, since I only found out this tank was in the works a fe days ago, and I am very curious about it. If anybody can reply, maybe even some insider from Tongde perhaps, I'd very much appreciate:
1. How much are they costing (esp the Amphibious model)?
2. WHEN and where can I buy one?
3. Does the amphibious model at least seem like it will actually work in water without self-destructing?
4. Is it likely Tongde, or even the aftermarket, will introduce some kind of water-proofing kit to water-proof the works (or at least seal the electronics)?
I already have something in mind like this, (if only because, is it even possible to water-proof electronics TOO MUCH. )?

So, the only real question is, WHEN, and from whom can I buy it?

Unconfirmed release date from the factory is 10/10/2026.
There are apparently going to be three versions. Plastic, metal, and plastic amphibious. Which I believe will be the most expensive.

Only 100 of the amphibious versions were made and they are all spoken for. TD did not feel making any more would be a viable market choice given the price of around $600 for one.

Basically the amphibious version were custom"hand built" conversion that TD sub"d out to a separate company to finish for them. So don't expect more to be built anytime soon.
