1/16 RC tank lower metal chassis upgrade dilemma

There are many 1/16 RC tank lower metal chassis upgrade on the market, some at very attractive price. But they offer no mechanism to attach the Heng Long plastic upper chassis.

The only exception is the Leopard 2A6 from IMEX. They sell a matching upper chassis in plastic with attachment hardware built-in.

I tried magnet on 2 of my heng long using the strongest magnet I can find. The matching is not precise and the attachment is weak. It bunces off too easily. The HL Abrams V2 uses 4 top access attachment screw which is my favorite.

Which tank did you attach the HL top chassis to a metal lower chassis. I will enjoy seeing some of your handy work.
